Section A: About the Summit
The RISE PECO World Summit 2026 is the 13th edition of the RISE World Summit — a global, hybrid, distributed summit taking place 2–5 June 2026. It brings Partners, Entrepreneurs, and Citizens together to co-own solutions to the world's most pressing problems. Unlike traditional conferences, there are no panels, no profile readings, no sponsorships, and no ticketing. This year marks a decisive pivot: from convening conversations to building living coalitions.
Global means it spans multiple countries. Hybrid means events can be online or in-person. Distributed is the key differentiator — there is no single host city. The summit happens wherever a partner chooses to host. Partners in Pune, Dubai, Toronto, or Nairobi can each run their own session under the RISE PECO World Summit umbrella. There will be a plenary in Mumbai, but everything else is distributed worldwide.
The four days follow the PECO framework:
- Day 1 (2 June) — PARTNERSHIP: cross-sector collaboration and resource mobilisation
- Day 2 (3 June) — ENTREPRENEURSHIP: innovation, problem-solving, startup-NGO collaboration
- Day 3 (4 June) — CITIZENSHIP: sustainability, community agency, civic engagement
- Day 4 (5 June) — OWNERSHIP: systems thinking, co-ownership, intergenerational wealth (coincides with World Environment Day)
Yes. Registration to attend the summit online is completely free. There are no sponsorships and no ticketing. If a partner hosts a physical, off-site event that involves genuine costs (venue, logistics), they may charge a reasonable cost-recovery fee — RISE does not take any portion of that. The summit itself and the PECOWorld platform remain free.
No. Each day is thematically independent, and you can attend just the days most relevant to you. Flexible participation is encouraged: 2–3 hours/day or full-day engagement. All sessions are recorded and available on the platform for catch-up. That said, attending all 4 days gives the fullest experience of coalition-building — Day 4 (Ownership) is especially recommended as it brings everything together.
The team took a deliberate pause to redesign the summit from the ground up. Earlier editions focused on convening and facilitating conversations. 2026 is built to create coalitions and co-ownership of action, which required a completely new technology platform (PECOWorld), a new PECO framework, and a new process. The decision to delay was to ensure readiness, not just speed.
There are 25 refined event formats across 3 channels — every format is interaction-first. Panels and presentations are not allowed.
- Forum: roundtables, workshops, fireside chats, mentoring clinics, chat tables, one-on-ones, awards, contests
- Fest: storytelling, documentaries, innovation showcases, exhibitions, performances, films
- Tours: virtual and physical tours of communities, nature, culture, collection drives
Yes. The summit is multi-thematic and global. It covers sustainability, nutrition, livelihoods, climate action, community development, and many more areas mapped to the SDGs. Sessions are conducted primarily in English. Participation is welcome from any country, any sector (NGO, corporate, government, academia, individuals), and any geography.
You can expect a curated mix of:
- NGOs and social enterprises (Entrepreneur persona)
- Corporates, foundations, and government bodies (Partner persona)
- Community leaders, activists, and individual changemakers (Citizen persona)
- Global participants across 80+ countries based on prior editions
- Senior decision-makers, program leads, experts, and frontline workers — all levels
Outcomes vary based on how you engage, but participants typically leave with:
- 2–3 strong, curated collaboration leads
- Clarity on their own PECO persona and giving style
- At least one concrete commitment or next step (documented)
- Potential partnerships via the Go-To Exchange
- Ongoing access to the PECOWorld community platform year-round
Section B: The PECO Framework
PECO stands for Partnership, Entrepreneurship, Citizenship, and Ownership. These represent both the four-day thematic structure of the summit and the four building blocks required for any sustainable coalition. Together they form the PECO model — a structured blueprint for moving from fragmented individual efforts to systemic, collective impact.
Every participant is understood through their role in creating change — not their job title or legal entity:
- Entrepreneur = the Builder of Solutions (problem-solving, innovation, action-oriented)
- Partner = the Steward of Resources (contributes time, networks, funding, space, expertise to scale solutions)
- Citizen = the Carrier of Trust (connects solutions to communities; provides influence, networks, and uptake)
You may fit into more than one role — and that is perfectly fine. A quick guide:
- Have funding, resources, or networks to share → Partner
- Have a solution, innovation, or programme that needs support → Entrepreneur
- Work with or for communities, or can carry solutions to people → Citizen
The 3C Passport defines the scope of your work in three dimensions:
- Cause — what issue are you working on? (~40 causes listed, mapped to SDGs)
- Community — who are you working for or with?
- County — at what geographic scale? (Area → City → State → National → Continental → Global)
Because legal identity does not determine a person's willingness or ability to act. A government official may be an entrepreneur at heart. A corporate may have deep citizen sensibilities. An NGO may have significant resources to offer as a Partner. The PECO lens removes artificial sector walls and lets people engage based on what they can and will do — not what their organisation's letterhead says.
The RISE PECO World Summit is convened by Idobro Impact Solutions Pvt. Ltd., with RISE Infinity Foundation as its social arm. Their role goes well beyond hosting the event:
- Ecosystem Curators — deliberate curation of the right mix of Partners, Entrepreneurs, and Citizens
- Process Designers & Facilitators — the KORU Toolkit and Go-To Exchange structure how people interact
- Neutral Convenors — Idobro does not compete with participants; it enables cross-sector trust
- Collaboration Enablers (post-summit) — supporting PECOCircles, facilitating follow-ups, running PECOWorld
- Impact Catalysts — ensuring outcomes move from dialogue → conviction → co-ownership → impact
Section C: The PECOWorld Platform
PECOWorld is the year-round community platform built alongside the summit. It is not an event app or a webinar tool — it is a structured community infrastructure with four spaces: the Persona Quiz (Giving Style discovery), the Go-To Exchange (give-and-take wall), PECONets (cause-aligned communities), and PECOCircles (curated, project-specific coalitions). The summit seeds it; PECOWorld runs 365 days a year beyond it.
No — they are intentionally kept separate. The RISE Summit website is a public-facing event page for agenda, details, and registration. PECOWorld is the community platform active year-round. If you registered for the summit, you will receive an email invitation to join PECOWorld automatically. You only ever need one account for both.
Two pathways:
- Option A (Direct): Visit PECOWorld → enter email → receive magic link → complete Giving Style quiz → fill 3C Passport → start exploring
- Option B (Via Summit): Register for the RISE PECO World Summit → receive an email invite to PECOWorld → click to join → your summit details are pre-filled
The Giving Style quiz is a short questionnaire (under 3 minutes) that identifies whether your primary orientation is Entrepreneur, Partner, or Citizen. It is a reflection tool — not a score or a gate. It is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. You can take it anonymously first; you only need to sign up if you want to join the community.
Only if you choose. Community profiles are opt-in for public visibility. You control whether your details appear publicly or stay private. The platform shows a member counter (e.g., '3,500 people on PECOWorld') so newcomers see an active community, but individual profiles are always opt-in.
PECOWorld is a dedicated event community platform — not just Zoom. Webinar-style sessions (live sessions, roundtables) are conducted via integrated video links. Networking, Go-To Exchange, discussion boards, and resource sharing all happen within PECOWorld itself. Virtual participants can engage in all spaces, not just watch-only sessions.
Section D: Go-To, PECONets, PECOCircles
The Go-To Exchange is a give-and-take wall — the lightest entry point into PECOWorld. You post an Offer (a skill, coaching session, resource, network, time you can give) or a Need (a collaborator, mentor, funding, expertise you are looking for). It is action-oriented and specific — not for vague ideas. Think of it as the WhatsApp group finally made useful.
No. A Go-To Exchange post is a one-time, low-commitment offer or request — there is no long-term obligation attached. However, because it is a public post, it signals genuine intent. It can lead to deeper collaborations (PECONets, PECOCircles), but that is entirely your choice.
A dedicated Mapper role — facilitators from the RISE team — actively reviews posts, identifies matches between offers and needs, and connects relevant people. Monthly Go-To Meetings are also held online post-summit, where senior practitioners join to facilitate live giving and taking in real time.
A PECONet is a cause-aligned community — the connective tissue between strangers and collaborators. It is organised around any one or more of the 3Cs: a cause (e.g., clean water), a community (e.g., women entrepreneurs), or a county (e.g., Nashik district). Think of it as the 'network before the project' — where you share information, stay engaged, and find like-minded people before forming a working team.
You can propose one, but all PECONets go through an approval process. This is intentional — we want fewer, higher-quality communities rather than dozens of abandoned groups. If approved, you become the Co-Host and are responsible for managing activity. At least one of the 3Cs (Cause, Community, County) must be clearly defined.
A WhatsApp group is informal, hard to search, easy to ignore, and typically 80% silent. A PECONet is curated, cause-anchored, searchable, and on a structured platform with shared resources, discussion boards, events, and an opt-in member directory. Most importantly, a PECONet is the sourcing layer for PECOCircles — something WhatsApp was never designed to do.
A PECOCircle is a small, curated working team co-owning a real problem. It must include:
- A Partner (resources — funding, networks, expertise, space)
- An Entrepreneur (solution — the innovation or programme to be scaled)
- A Citizen (community — the people who will validate and carry the solution forward)
You must be part of a PECONet first. Creation steps:
- Name your circle and state its purpose clearly
- Define your Cause, Community, and Geography (3C Passport)
- Specify which roles you need (Partner / Entrepreneur / Citizen) and why
- State urgency: immediate need, within 3 months, or rolling intake
- Submit for approval — Team reviews all PECOCircle submissions
No — PECOCircles are curated, not open to all. The Anchor controls membership. Circles have three visibility modes:
- Public — discoverable and open to join
- Platform-Private — visible to logged-in users, but joining requires approval
- Invite-Only — fully closed; not visible outside the circle
The Anchor is the person who commits to driving the circle forward — the backbone of the project. They don't do everything alone, but they must have the grit and long-term commitment to keep the circle alive through obstacles. Without a clear Anchor, a PECOCircle will not be approved. Other roles include Co-Owner (collaborative leadership) and Members (contributors).
No. PECOCircles are permanent. The summit is the catalyst, not the container. PECOWorld stays active 365 days a year, and circles continue until their project goals are met. Post-summit, Fortnightly KORU Toolkit Sessions and Monthly Go-To Meetings actively support circle anchors with tools, frameworks, and facilitation.
Section E: Participation, Partners & Experts
Participation is entirely flexible — you choose your level:
- Attend sessions online or offline (any day, any session)
- Host or co-host an event (any of the 25 formats, online or physical)
- Post offers and needs on the Go-To Exchange
- Join or form a PECONet (cause-aligned community)
- Apply to form or join a PECOCircle (project coalition)
- Be an Expert on the Table or Thought Leader for a session
- Lead a country or city chapter
- Volunteer or join a working group
- Help with media outreach and amplification
Partners are organisations (NGOs, companies, government, academic institutions) that contribute by hosting events, bringing participants, or providing resources. Experts are individuals who contribute personal knowledge, time, and networks — by leading sessions, mentoring, or serving as an Expert on the Table. Both are equally valued; partner logos are always the same size — there is no hierarchy.
Yes — that is the whole point of the distributed model. You design the event, choose the format (from 25 options), decide if it is online or in-person, and host it under the RISE PECO World Summit umbrella. RISE promotes it, connects you with relevant participants, and supports with facilitation guidance. If it is physical and involves costs, a reasonable cost-recovery fee is allowed — RISE does not take a share.
Yes — through:
- Showcases and pitch sessions
- Post-event documentation and reports
- PECOWorld platform profile (opt-in public visibility)
- Social media amplification and media coverage of the summit
- Go-To Exchange: your offers and expertise are searchable by all platform members
Take the Giving Style quiz first (under 3 minutes) — it will help you find your persona. Then browse the Go-To Exchange to see what others are offering and needing. Even posting one offer or need is a powerful first step. You do not have to commit to a PECONet or PECOCircle right away — the platform is designed to meet you where you are. Orientation sessions are held every Friday evening to help newcomers navigate.
As little or as much as you choose. There is no minimum. Flexible engagement: 2–3 hours/day is common; full-day immersion is also possible. If you can only attend one day or one session — that is completely fine. If you want to host an event, facilitate a roundtable, or mentor someone, that is equally welcome.
There are none — RISE PECO has run for 13 years without a single sponsor. This is a deliberate choice to preserve the neutral, collaborative nature of the platform. When there is no sponsor, there is no hierarchy, no 'big logo vs. small logo,' and no external agenda. Everyone gives, everyone gains.
The summit is open to all who wish to participate in good faith — attendance and session hosting are welcoming. However, PECOCircles are curated and require approval. The goal is to ensure the right mix of Partners, Entrepreneurs, and Citizens in each circle, and to avoid empty commitments. If you are interested, a team member will connect with you to understand your role and curate your participation journey.
Senior decision-makers and programme leads are encouraged to participate personally — especially for PECOCircle formation, where commitment and authority to act matter. However, all levels are welcome: from CXO to frontline workers. You may also nominate a relevant team member to attend sessions or host events on your organisation's behalf.
Section F: For Partners — Value, Role & What to Expect
As a Partner, you get:
- Access to 15–20 curated, relevant organisations aligned to your CSR / ESG / program focus
- Opportunity to evaluate and support real, vetted solutions during the summit
- Ability to co-create and own a visible, trackable initiative via PECOCircle
- Post-summit facilitation to convert conversations into action
- Brand and thought leadership positioning in a high-trust, no-hierarchy ecosystem
- Ongoing access to the PECOWorld platform and community (year-round, not just 4 days)
- Credibility alignment: 13 years, 240+ partners, 84 countries, 30,000+ participants
Partnership structures are flexible and customisable:
- Knowledge Partner — contribute expertise; lead a session, roundtable, or workshop
- Ecosystem / Program Partner — host an event, bring participants, co-design a PECOCircle
- Funding / CSR Partner — deploy resources toward specific causes within the PECO framework
- Session / Track Partner — sponsor a full-day thematic track (e.g., Entrepreneurship Day)
- Outreach Partner — extend the summit's reach to your community or geography
Partners are active participants — not sponsors watching from the sidelines. You can:
- Host or co-host a roundtable, workshop, or showcase
- Mentor entrepreneurs in one-on-one or clinic formats
- Evaluate solutions and provide real-time feedback
- Support or anchor a PECOCircle
- Participate in the Go-To Exchange as a resource-giver
- Be recognised as a Thought Leader in your area
No. This is one of the clearest differentiators. Partners who form or join PECOCircles continue to work post-summit through PECOWorld. The KORU Center provides ongoing facilitation. Idobro supports collaboration tracking and follow-up. Your engagement continues as long as the circle or community is active.
The PECO model is explicitly aligned with SDG themes — your participation and any resulting PECOCircle can be directly mapped to your CSR or ESG reporting goals. Idobro provides documentation of outcomes, collaborations formed, and impact milestones, which can be used for internal reporting and external communication.
It depends on the sector. Because RISE PECO operates on a no-sponsorship, equal-partnership model, there is no category exclusivity by default. However, because PECOCircles are curated, we ensure there is no duplication or dilution within a specific project coalition. If category exclusivity is important to your organisation, this can be discussed — limited exclusivity options may be available depending on the partnership structure.
Section G: Common Concerns & Misconceptions
No. There are conferences, unconferences, and then there is RISE PECO. The summit bans panels, profile readings, and sponsor logos. Every session is interaction-first. More importantly, the summit is just the beginning — the real work happens in the year-round PECOWorld platform through Go-To Exchange, PECONets, and PECOCircles. RISE PECO is a system for co-creation — not a one-time event.
A fair concern. Here is what is different:
- Proven model: 240 partners, all 36 Maharashtra districts, 2 million people impacted via UNICEF disaster response
- Structured process: KORU Toolkit, 3C Passport, PECO personas — these guide what happens
- Curated entry for PECOCircles: we will not approve empty commitments or superficial groups
- Year-round facilitation engine: Monthly Go-To Meetings, Fortnightly KORU Toolkit Sessions — not a one-time event
- 13 years of learning: RISE has run since 2012 without a single sponsor, without losing its founding partners
Yes. The platform is designed for simplicity — just an email to sign up, a short persona quiz, and a clean dashboard. You do not need to understand all four spaces at once. Start with the Go-To Exchange: post one thing you can offer and go from there. Orientation sessions are held every Friday evening to help newcomers navigate PECOWorld.
Once you express interest, a RISE team member will connect with you to understand your role and curate your participation journey. You will then:
- Receive a confirmation with next steps
- Be invited to join PECOWorld and complete your Giving Style quiz and 3C Passport
- Be matched with relevant sessions, PECONets, and potential collaborators
- Receive the programme calendar and session links ahead of the summit
Completely fine. Each day is thematically independent. You can attend Day 1 (Partnership) without attending Day 4 (Ownership). All sessions are recorded and available on PECOWorld for catch-up. The Go-To Exchange and PECONets are always on — you can engage anytime.
Reach out to the RISE team. Guided facilitation support is available. Monthly Go-To Meetings and KORU Toolkit Sessions are specifically designed to help circles when they hit roadblocks. We share best practices from high-performing circles. However, if a circle has no active Anchor and no committed members, it may need to be paused or restructured. Quality over quantity — always.
Yes. PECOWorld is a permanent platform. The 2026 summit is its founding year. In 2027, a new summit will simply be added — nothing is deleted or archived. PECONets and PECOCircles formed in June 2026 continue as long as communities are active. This is a long-term investment, not a pop-up event.
